Meet Alonso Quijano
Alonso Quijano is a middle-aged nobleman, known as the gentleman of La Mancha, whose heavy reading of chivalric romances has unsettled his grasp of reality. At the story’s outset, he reinvents himself as Don Quixote, a knight-errant determined to live by the ideals of those books.
