Inside the story
Meet Edward Hyde
Edward Hyde is a mysterious, smaller and more primitive figure closely connected to Dr. Jekyll. Violent and unsettling, he moves through London as a stranger whom others find inherently repulsive and unnatural, while his relationship with the doctor remains difficult to understand.

A SMALL adult MAN, pale and DWARFISH, who gives a strong impression of DEFORMITY without any nameable malformation. Young-looking but grown, with hairy knuckled hands, a husky whispering manner and a displeasing, murderous smile. He wears good clothes far too large for him. Never a child.
