The White Knight is a gentle, inventive chess piece whom Alice meets on the road through Looking-Glass Land. Eager to help her, he rides beside her while struggling to stay on his horse and often falling off.
A gentle, mild-faced knight dressed in tin armour that fits him very badly, with a queer-shaped little deal box fastened upside-down across his shoulder and its lid hanging open, and a shock of untidy hair.
