Meet Noirtier de Villefort
Noirtier de Villefort is the father of the royalist prosecutor Villefort and a fierce old Bonapartist. Left wholly paralysed by a stroke, he can communicate only through his eyes and remains a watchful, protective presence for his granddaughter, Valentine.
