On the page
A well-groomed English gentleman in his late twenties to early thirties, clean-shaven or lightly whiskered, with neatly parted hair; impeccably dressed in fashionable 1890s town attire — frock coat or morning coat, high starched collar, cravat, waistcoat, and gloves — and at one point appears in full deep mourning black complete with crape hatband.
