Meet Ernest Defarge
Ernest Defarge is a wine-shop keeper in the Saint Antoine district of Paris and a leader among the revolutionary Jacquerie. Once a servant of Doctor Manette, he now shelters the doctor after his release and helps carry the unrest of the streets toward the Bastille.
